FAQs on Quordle

What is Quordle?

Quordle presents you with four puzzles to solve per day, providing nine guesses instead of Wordle’s six. It’s available online via the Quordle website and can also be accessed through Merriam-Webster’s site after their acquisition of Quordle last year. The games reset at midnight, creating a fresh challenge each day. The website also offers a practice mode, daily stats, and achievements. It’s a rather complex game, to say the least.

What are the Quordle rules?

The rules are quite similar to Wordle’s. 1. Letters in the answer and the right place turn green. 2. Letters in the answer but in the wrong place turn yellow. 3. Letters not in the answer turn gray. 4. Your word displays in all quadrants simultaneously, appearing green, yellow, or gray in each. 5. Answers aren’t plural. 6. You have nine guesses and must complete the daily Quordle before midnight.

What is a good Quordle strategy?

For Quordle, it’s beneficial to use several starting words and think strategically. With four puzzles to solve in just nine guesses, you’ll need to carefully consider your moves. Intrigued? Read on or leave your likes behind!
