The latest update for Windows 11 has fixed a bug that was causing issues for users with AMD graphics cards and CPUs. The bug, which first appeared in the Moment 4 update, caused AMD profile settings to reset every time a PC was restarted. The November update for Windows 11 has mostly resolved this issue, although some users are still experiencing profile resets. In order for the fix to work, users also need to be running AMD’s Adrenalin graphics driver version 23.10.2.

However, the November update itself has brought about some new problems, including minor gremlins that may still be affecting some users. While the fix is great news for those affected, not everyone is benefiting from it. Windows Latest speculates that those still experiencing issues after the update may be suffering from a different cause. Microsoft has not confirmed the presence of this fix in the new update, but it is hoped that any remaining issues will be resolved quickly.
