TechRadar’s UK Editor in Chief, Marc McLaren, has been actively playing Wordle and Quordle for more than a year, contributing dozens of articles on the subject. He has even conducted a detailed analysis of the most common letters in every position. With a streak recently reaching 500, it is evident that he takes these games seriously. Quordle involves four puzzles to solve, and it differs in the sense that you get a total of nine guesses, rather than the six for Wordle. The rules are quite similar, including one where letters that are in the answer but in the wrong place turn yellow, and letters that are not in the answer turn grey. What’s more, an A could turn green in one square, yellow in another, and grey in the remaining two. While there is no equivalent of Wordle’s Hard mode, you still have nine guesses to find the Quordle answers and must complete the daily Quordle before midnight in your timezone. Quordle should be approached strategically, as using several starting words can significantly increase your chances of winning. For example, one can start with STARE, DOILY, and PUNCH to use up lots of common letters. If all these points are taken into consideration, you are guaranteed to enhance your Quordle experience for both today and tomorrow.
