One of the largest modeling agencies in Spain, The Clueless, announced the creation of the first AI influencer in the country. Aitana López, an AI-generated woman, is a 25-year-old with pink hair and has quickly amassed 124,000 followers on Instagram. The agency stated that López can earn up to 10,000 euros, or $11,000, a month as a model, posing for adverts and other content. Aitana López’s images are also featured on Fanvue, a subscription platform similar to OnlyFans.
The Clueless’s founder, Rubeñ Cruz, revealed that he decided to create López after experiencing difficulties working with real models and influencers. He also emphasized the agency’s desire to reduce dependence on personalities with egos and financial motivations. The AI influencer has been designed with a “personality” based on societal preferences, described as a “strong and determined woman” with interests in video games and fitness.
According to a report by Euronews, Aitana López stands to earn over 1,000 euros per advert and can make anywhere from 3,000 euros to 10,000 euros each month. The news came in the wake of Business Insider’s Marta Biino’s report on the rising number of AI models finding success on social media and adult content platforms. This included Emily Pellegrini, an AI-generated adult content creator on Fanvue with over 100,000 followers on Instagram. CEO of Fanvue, Will Monange, predicted that AI-generated characters would soon become as widespread as human creators.
