There have been allegations of misconduct at Air India Express filed by senior cabin crew members. They are seeking intervention from the Union Civil Aviation Ministry due to concerns over breaches of the code of conduct. The staff claims they have been facing mental harassment and abrupt contract reductions, leading to doubts about the airline’s management practices.

In a letter sent to Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, the AIX employees union raised issues about restrictions on trade union activities and contract renewals without justification. They also claimed to have faced harassment and discrimination by the company’s assessment team, including manipulation of height measurements and unethical practices.

Additionally, there were accusations of favoritism and monopolistic practices within the organization by COO Pushpinder Singh. The union expressed frustration at their inability to address these concerns with CEO Aloke Singh and urged intervention to rectify the unjust treatment towards cabin crew employees at Air India Express Ltd.
