Nvidia is set to introduce its RTX Super refreshes at CES 2024, according to rumors. The launch date was hinted at by Nvidia leaker Kopite7kimi, who simply responded with “CES” when asked about the release timeframe for the RTX 4080 Super, 4070 Ti Super, and 4070 Super variants.

Further supporting this speculation, leaker MEGAsizeGPU shared what appears to be packaging for the RTX 4070 Ti Super. Although this leaked image should be taken with a grain of salt, it provides a glimpse of the supposed logo for the Ti Super. Interestingly, this naming decision from Nvidia has raised some questions.

While the reveal is expected at CES 2024, it remains uncertain when these graphics cards will be available for purchase. Important decisions regarding exact specifications and pricing are still being made. It’s also unclear whether Nvidia will release all three Super models simultaneously or opt for a staggered release.

The choice to combine “Ti” and “Super” in the RTX 4070 Ti Super name has puzzled many. It seems unusual for Nvidia to introduce this combination, suggesting a deviation from the original plan. The RTX 4080 Super is also needed to address the underwhelming sales of the vanilla RTX 4080.

Overall, Nvidia’s upcoming Lovelace graphics cards, including the Super refreshes, have faced criticism for their specifications, pricing, and unlaunched products. TechRadar will closely follow CES 2024 and provide updates on any new Nvidia GPUs showcased at the event.
