Nvidia’s Graphics Card Refresh Plans Revealed
The latest rumors from the tech world indicate that Nvidia will be launching only two graphics card refreshes in early 2024. These rumors contradict the original speculation that three revamped Lovelace cards would be on the way, so we should approach this news cautiously.
According to leaker Harukaze5719, a Korean retailer has confirmed that only an RTX 4070 Super and 4080 Super will be launched by Nvidia. This means that the purported RTX 4070 Ti Super is no longer part of the plan, if it ever was.
Although no details on the specs were provided by the retailer, the absence of a theoretical RTX 4070 Ti Super suggests that it may have been abandoned by Nvidia or was never considered to begin with.
We’re left wondering about the specifics of these offerings and how they will stack up against the competition, especially considering that Nvidia has a special event planned for CES 2024 where the new products will supposedly be revealed. It’s been suggested that the RTX 4070 Super could potentially overshadow the RTX 4080, so this launch is certainly something to keep an eye on.
Nvidia has not officially confirmed these plans, and the conflicting reports from different sources leave room for skepticism. However, we should have concrete details soon when Nvidia makes its announcements at CES 2024. Stay tuned for updates!
