Samsung officially unveiled its latest smartphone in India on Tuesday. The Galaxy A05 is now available for purchase and comes with a price tag of Rs 12,499 for the 6GB+128 GB variant and Rs 9,999 for the 4GB+64GB variant.
This new smartphone is part of the Galaxy A series and boasts a 50MP wide-angle camera. The device will be sold in three different colors: Light Green, Silver, and Black.
Akshay S Rao, Category Head of Samsung MX Division, emphasized the phone’s key features, including a massive 5000 mAh battery, an impressive 6.7-inch HD+ display, a MediaTek G85 processor, and the iconic Galaxy signature design.
The MediaTek G85 processor provides enhanced power and speed, enabling effective multitasking. It also comes with a RAM plus feature, which intelligently analyses usage patterns and provides extra virtual RAM of up to 6 GB, as claimed by the company.
The Galaxy A05 is equipped with a dual camera setup that features a 50MP wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth-sensing camera. Additionally, it has an 8MP camera for selfies.
In terms of battery life, the device supports up to 25W Super-Fast Charging, getting the smartphone back to full power quickly. The company also emphasized that the Galaxy A05 is future-ready, as it will receive four years of security updates and two generations of OS upgrades.
